Unintentional extended hiatus

Well, kids. It’s been a while hasn’t it?

I finished out 2010 with a stint as the managing editor at Oklahoma State’s Daily O’Collegian student newspaper and was crowned editor-in-chief for the spring semester. It was gloriously laborious and rewarding. (You will never dissuade me of the inherent value of knowing essentially every facet of the process.)

Summer 2011 I completed my degree requirements and began an internship with the Tulsa World. Afterward, I was fortunate to be offered a full-time gig there covering breaking news and crime. In 2014, I transitioned to writing about our district court.

I plan to pull up highlights from my time at the World to post in coming days, so please stay tuned.
